HT-100 has been developed to obtain a thin film with water repellence. HT-100 can be deposited on to A-R layer on glass or plastic lens in a vacuum coating machine. As the result, lenses coated with HT-100 are less susceptible to soil and are easier to clean. They are especially less sensitive to finger marks which have a strong interfering effect on multi coated lens.
Usage of electron beam
General conditions I) Vacuum condition: 2 x 10-5 mbar II) Substrates (lens) temperature: 80°C III) Coating thickness 5-20nm for 30-60 sec. IV) The contact angle for water: 200°C
Processing of plastic lens * Plastic lens Start the lowest beam power (7-11 Amp. 30sec - 60sec) Coating thickness is between 5nm-20nm ** Do not contact ION beam on the HT-100 coated surface.
Processing of glass lens Glass lens The same processing as the plastic lens But you have to change coating design. In this case, we can send the glass lens coating design to our manufacture hydrophobic tablet.

Processing of plastic lens Evaporation temperature : 200°C - 400°C Boat: Box shaped, molybdenum boat
